Parkfairfax Native Plant Sale

The Parkfairfax Native Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, April 24th, from 9 am to 2 pm in the tennis courts parking lot adjacent to 3601 Valley Drive in Parkfairfax.  There will be fourteen vendors from five states.  This will be the largest plant sale in the Washington metro area.  

This event is normally held twice a year in April and September.   In 2009 The Parkfairfax Native Plant Sale attracted more than 800 people and 10 vendors.  Visitors will find native Virginia perennials, shrubs, and trees for both sun and shade.

Arlington Home Show & Expo

The fourth annual Arlington Home Show & Expo will be held on Saturday, April 10th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Walter Reed Community Center (2909 16th St South).  Presented by the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization in partnership with the county’s housing division, the event offers one-stop shopping for residents interested in home improvement.
