Living in the nation’s capital is a wonderful opportunity. The Washington D.C. metropolitan area - which includes much of the greater Northern Virginia area - is very affluent and has been for quite some time. Northern Virginia (especially Arlington County) and Washington D.C. have some of the highest median salaries in the U.S.
In fact, seven of the top twenty highest income counties in the United States reside in the area, and Loudon and Arlington county have the highest concentration of young professional ages 25-34 making incomes of over 100K a year.

Market inventory is at a 5 year low as we get ready for the 2012 spring market. With interest rates remaining low and economic news starting to sound a little bit more positive, I have personally seen buyers starting to come back in strong fashion.
Now is the time to sell! If your a seller out there thinking about putting your home on the market, do it now. People are emailing and calling me looking for new properties coming on the market because they don't have anything left to show. Those properties that are on the market now are moving quickly, many of them with multiple…
